Strategic Purchasing provides significant resources to support suppliers in marketing their products and services. The Marketing & Sales team have the responsibility for servicing clients and suppliers in the field. Market research and analysis is conducted on an ongoing basis to support this team. Continuous feedback from the field is provided during the term of the contract to identify opportunities and resolve issues.
Induction Process & Market Development
Successful suppliers are contacted by Strategic Purchasing to arrange a supplier induction at which time they have the opportunity to meet various Strategic Purchasing staff clients and discuss any outstanding issues or concerns before the contract commences.
This ensures that suppliers can 'hit the ground running' and forms the basis of an ongoing relationship. Strategic Purchasing also presents its program of promotional opportunities during the induction period, allowing tailored promotional strategies to suit individual suppliers needs.
Contract Administration Rebates and Reports
Strategic Purchasing suppliers are contracted to pay a rebate based on the invoice value for the products or services supplied under the Strategic Purchasing contract. The rebate is payable monthly to Strategic Purchasing and should be accompanied by a report that details all purchases and by whom.
Promotions
Strategic Purchasing manages a program of promotional activities designed to establish and build relationships between clients and suppliers. We organise and facilitate an annual promotional calendar of proposed corporate events, presentations and other business functions and events. Process Monitoring
Strategic Purchasing is committed to on-going process improvement and undertakes continuous monitoring of its processes supported by a structured research program. Research on customer satisfaction on a twice-yearly basis forms the cornerstone of this program. Open communication with suppliers and feedback from our Marketing & Sales Executives in the field is vital for process monitoring. |
