Tenders

Strategic Purchasing offers interested suppliers the opportunity to establish business relationships with our members via our tenders. It is a simple process that requires you to:

1. Refer to the Strategic Purchasing schedule of contracts and determine which is of interest to you.

2. Contact your State office and request in writing that your name be placed on the mailing list for the nominated contract.

3. Prepare for commencement of the public tender process.

4. Notification is by way of:

Newspaper - suppliers should monitor advertisements for commencement of the tendering process. Details of tenders are advertised in the Local Government Tenders Section of The Age in Victoria (Saturday), the Sydney Morning Herald in New South Wales (Tuesday) and the Adelaide Advertiser in South Australia (Monday).

Mailing List - as a service to potential suppliers, Strategic Purchasing will endeavour to provide notification where advice has been received indicating interest in a particular contract/s.

Note: Strategic Purchasing does not accept responsibility for failure to notify a potential supplier of a forthcoming tender.

5. In normal circumstances, suppliers are given three to four weeks to prepare a tender.

6. Documents are available for inspection prior to purchase, at the relevant Strategic Purchasing office quoted in the advertisement.

For clarification on how to access or complete a tender, please contact Strategic Purchasing or email tenders@strategicpurchasing.com.au
